Dr. Amicitia “Dr. Cita” Maloon-Gibson has dedicated her life to leadership, service, and helping others reach their highest potential. From her distinguished career as a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army to her leadership across the Department of Defense and nonprofit organizations, she has consistently answered the call to serve with excellence, integrity, and purpose.

Today, Dr. Gibson continues that mission as the founder of ATIC & MGAA Professional Development, where she equips emerging and established leaders with the skills, confidence, and vision needed to succeed. As a Professional Certified Speaker, Trainer, Executive Coach, and Amazon bestselling author, she has built a reputation for helping individuals grow personally and professionally while preparing them to lead with impact.

Known as the EmpowermentDoc™, Dr. Gibson believes leadership is more than a title. It is a responsibility to inspire, encourage, and create opportunities for others. Whether coaching executives, mentoring future leaders, or serving as an executive consultant, her focus remains on investing in people and helping them become the best version of themselves.

Her commitment to service extends beyond the workplace. Ordained as an Evangelist and Servant Leader in 2005, Dr. Gibson faithfully serves as a Lay Minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Her faith is the foundation of every area of her life and leadership. Guided by Psalms 23 and 121, she encourages others to trust God, pursue their purpose, and walk boldly in their calling.

As a lifelong learner, Dr. Gibson believes that true success is measured by what we give back. She is passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders by sharing knowledge, opening doors, and creating pathways for growth. Her message is simple yet powerful: vision is the key, and unwavering faith unlocks opportunities and possibilities.
